Chessington’s “batten down the hatches” approach to bad publicity seems to have just taken another turn. A four year old girl is fighting for her life after falling through a hole in the railings waiting for the Tomb Raider ride.
This is a terrible tragedy and my heart goes out to the family.
While my wife was reading the story – she seemed to think that the comments on the Chessington Facebook page were getting deleted – although I cannot verify right now as the page is loading slowly. But something was also noted by a person commenting on the Daily Mail story.
Anyway – Chessington – I don’t know if there was a hole in a fence or not. But I do remember how you treated me and these problems don’t go away just because you take an aggressive stance. They just get worse.
