Combining lettermelater with something like ping.fm pretty much lets you travel the world and every conference from your living room. I wonder if I could appear to be at two conferences at once by pre-programming updates to my profiles just by using the conference session grid in advance. Just one word of warning - I once spent ages writing a fantastic post that hardly anyone read, as I accidentally "scheduled" it for one month earlier, and it ended up buried in the archives. I triple check the dates now!
