What Dixon Does in Video Form
I would like to thank Oleg LaputyevI, from Loud Videos for creating this great animated pitch video.
Ever since stepping back from Majestic’s day-to-day, I have found myself floundering at networking events when people say “so what do you do?”. I would advi
I help founders take their online business idea and make it a profitable reality by making sure their product is fit for marketing online.
My new mantra
I can play around with this a little, but in essence, this is what I do now. I remain an ambassador for Majestic and for the international Search Awards (EU, US, UK, MENA) for example, but my mainstay has been in being on the boards of businesses. Majestic for nearly a decade.
Production process
Oleg produced this whole video, from script to finished article, in a matter of a few days. I have seen this company’s work before and I am impressed at how quickly they get to the nub of an offering and express it in the form of benefits, often by simply extrapolating meaning from the website of their client. I felt entirely in control of the process, which unfolds in the following way:
- A brief idea of the animation’s goals
- A script written by Video Loud which I could then amend as much as I want
- A chance to select a voice over from several sound files
- The animation is then created from the scripted voice over to control the timing
- A few itereations later, the work was complete.
I find it mildly uncomfortable to see myself in animated form, algthough I am glad I am not porttrayed as a superhero. The orange car is a nice bit of personalization. I hope it “does the trick”.
Thank you Oleg.
